If I go to hell, the past 48 hours will play on repeat forever.

Briefly,

I started off not being excited about this trip. It was made worse when my mom got sick at the airport at home in Austin but still wanted to come on the trip. We made it to New Orleans and she crashed at the hotel while my dad, Beth, Madison and I went to lunch and dinner, rode the trolly, walked through the flower district and bourbon street. I met a stripper so that was cool. She was nice, and really sad. I felt bad for her.

This morning things were a little better. Mom was feeling better and we went to Cafe Du Monde and walked around the french quarter where we were serenaded by this really cool sax player/singer. Then the six hour car trip to Florida set in. We were okay through Mississippi, then hit Alabama where we got stuck in an hour long traffic jam. Then we got through Alabama and to Florida. Now we are finally at the condo and it’s really tacky but I have internet access and a tv where I can watch Bravo. So that’s good. 

Wow, I’m so depressed haha.
